Hello all  The Committee is delighted to formally invite ALL P2W riders to join our next dinner/demo/dance on 9 March, outsdie the Northumberland on Northumberland Avenue (off Trafalgar Sq). Start 6pm - Dinner 7pm - Carriages 8pm  Unfortunately, unlike the WCC fat-cats who will be dining & quaffing their ill-gotten gains inside this building, our "al-fresco" offering will be less of a culinary delight, mainly cos they've nicked our dosh.  As it undeniable that there is an "ILL-WIND" blowing through WCC, our menu for dinner will be, of course "Baked Beans" and "Pancakes", and we ask you to assist our catering staff thus. Please bring your own cans of Baked Beans (please be careful when eating them as the sauce is so-easily flicked onto others, which could be most upsetting for the better dressed attending nearby glitzzier do's  :'() and, as for the pancakes...... could you please bring the basic ingredients..... eggs, flour & milk!!  As before there will be pre-arranged meeting points available to those who register for this demo. NB - Registration for this demo should be done again, even if you registered for the last (helps us with the numbers & won't send unnecessary SMS to those who can't attend), and please note that mobile numbers are in the international format, however the 00 44 is already there, so, DROPPING THE FIRST ZERO, enter the next 9 digits. Hope to see you all on 9 March W & the Cmttee |

Stubble, I fear your idea re maple syrup is impractical for 2 reasons. 1) The transportation & storage at our venue 2) the assumption that there will be any ingredients left to make the pancakes - flour & eggs are so easily "dropped" by clumsy, indelicate bike-riders!! |

I mentioned this to the editor of The Riders Digest, who might be interested in getting an article from me about it. He may not be able to, as he is going to press 3 days later, but he's asking the publisher about it today. Also, Do I have permission to invite other members of the motorcycle press along?
Anyway, if I'm in any way available (and it looks like I will be!), then I'll be there!

Next you'll be suggesting that it was our bikes that caused the gridlock at Trafalgar Sq last time when all we were doing was....using the road like anybody else    |
