As a suggestion, could we have a Legal Cases page on the web site

The page should list all of the legal challenges, reviews, investigations along with their reference and current status - nothing too in depth, just so we can easily see ALL of the challenges on one page

just a thought   Cool

Could make it as a page, or could make it as a forum, more suggestions, I am open to them and can implement, this goes for the whole selection of websites the campaigns has, blog, forum, twitter, main site, facefate and so on.

I thouhgt a page would be better so it is clear and obvious what the status is of each legal action

With a forum it would start out with the status but then as things progressed and changed it would be difficult to get a quick clear position - you would end up having to read x number of responses

Maybe a header page with a current 1 paragraph status, then links to the history in a forum/blog/other page?

I agree it would be nice to have a clear web page with just the brief info on what is going on under each legal action, and then for further info just give links to relevant posts on the forum for further discussion.

I'll look at creating something when I get a moment, if anyone else would like to start drafting a page together in terms of content and links to relevant pages on the net, this will help a lot.

HEADING OF CASE

{LATEST INFORMATION}
{RELEVANT LINKS}

---

It doesn't have to be fancy, just contain all the information, I am snowed under with plenty of other things at the mo, but I think it is a great idea, but can someone take ownership of it? It may be an idea to create a separate forum topic with all the content in the members section, and maintain all the links and content there, I will then transfer this to a webpage once we are all happy... or.. I could create a collaborative document on the net and allow people that would like to collaborate on it access to edit together, then once ready, I can create a webpage with that information that can be easily updated with the latest happenings,

There's more complaints and investigations than we probably all know of going on, some investigations cannot be discussed until they have completed, but here are some of the things I know of happening :-

Complaint made to the Commission of the European Communities, still asking questions of WCC.

Complaint made to The Metropolitan Police, still considering whether to investigate, yawn.

Two complaints with the District Auditor, they are still investigating.

Two or possibly three complaints made to The Office of Fair Trade, they are trying to wriggle out of these but now some MP's are putting their weight behind them.

Several outstanding complaints with The Local Government Ombudsman, most concerning councillor and officers conduct.

The Information Commission, something going on there but would rather not say, plus multiple complaints from pissed off individuals regarding FOI handling.

There are also several complaints being made through MP's, the ones that give a dam that is.

High Court case, waiting for WCC to write up a fantasy defence.

The exact number of things going on is unclear because individuals have made their own complaints apart from the official NoTo ones.

Plus the icing on the cake, the media are becoming very interested in all these goings on.

Still it's just a bike parking tax, nothing WCC haven't seen before. ROTFL

Bloody hell - I didn't realise there were THAT many ongoing actions!

Kind of backs up the need for the "Actions" page I guess
