As we're aiming for a wider attendance, can I recommend that any meeting points be posted on this thread too, so that individuals & groups can meet & ride up together. Large groups of riders attract plenty of attention and this also adds to the impact.

I'm hoping that The Ace is going to be a mass departure point again: just love the 25mph rolling roadblock up the A40 & Westway!  Evil

Due to the start of the Gumball Rally and 2 walking demonstrations in WCC that day, the finer details of meet up and route have yet to be finalised, but as soon as, they will appear here.

I have just spoken to Warren Bow who informed me that he was composing a mass news letter setting out times, dates and reasons even as we spoke.  So I suggest you might want to keep an eye on your inboxes and spread the word once you get your notices.  Incidentally, there is a Wastemonster council meeting on the 28th April that we will be calling for biker's to attend as well, so that we can support Cllr Dimoldenberg Bow when he tables a motion for a public enquiry into the parking department's nefarious activities. Evil  Could be a giggle. Wink

can we get leaflets together for the mega demo ..... we need to get the word out  not only to the people on the mailing list but there are still thousands of London riders who don't know about us and could really swell the numbers

Yeh we need to act like we never had a demo before and leaflet the masses again to join the campaign we need a leaflet that will really get those ones on the fence about the issue to join us.. because I feel that the ones that have now paid up their WCC permit have started to think there is nothing I can do about this, these people need to be reminded that there is something they can do about it, and laying down and accepting it is not going to make it go away.. they will all have to pay again in August remember...and that might make them realise oh wait.. this is bloody annoying and why the hell am I paying this anyway?? what for?

Then there are the ones that are outside of Westminster who we need to get on board and make them realise that this will spread if we don't lay down now a show of rider force that is not going to go away until the politicians listen.

Any volunteers to create a leaflet or do we have any leaflets from the past that we can re-use and adapt again?

Also one that springs to mind to give to members of the public is the oyster card that says it will cost them 20p to cross the road soon the "Westminster Pedestrian Access Card" I think that was very successful.. I will dig around for the PDF and maybe we can get some of those made up.
