Fliers and posters in shops
«
on:
November 16, 2009, 12:08:18 AM »
This topic is for people to post up infromation relevent to shops that are displaying posters/fliers.
If you visit a shop and get them to put up some stuff then please post it here so that we know where has been covered. Alternatly if you are in a shop and talk to the manager and get him/her to agree to display some stuff, but don't have any of it with you to pass to them and are not able to get it to them yourself, post up here so that someone can get the material to them.
Simillarly if a request for materials is submitted through the website to the committee by a shop owner it will also be posted up on here to see if anyone here is going past it anyway.
Myself and the other mods will try and keep an alphabetical list of shops displaying material in this post for referance purposes using the format "shop name, area"
Don't limit yourself to just dealers, there are also garages, work shops, those who carry clothing & general bike supplies, tyre fitters, petrol stations, cafes. anywhere you think you might see fellow bikers.
Certainly don't ignor Westminster but also lets try and get spread out beyond Westminster where there are more likely to be people who havn't heard about us yet as I'm still meeting people who had no idea we exist and one of them told me he rides regularly into Westminster!

How about producing one for retail shops explaining the charges and how it affects them?

Great idea BigDave, I will hopefully collect some posters and flyers early this week and start getting them out where ever my travels take me, usually Darkest South West London and also to the edge of the post-apocalyptic Essex Wastelands, well at least to the end of District Line!

If you get no luck in Southern Cross, let me know. I go there all the time, and my housemate knows the boss quite well.
