Flippin' 'eck!   That's a serious piece of work.  It must represent an enormous amount of effort.

I found one error, not even sure if it's worth mentioning,

Item 61: " Since it is indisputable that these are “well-being” objectives,
the raising of funds to cover these costs in a further breach of Section 3, Local
Government Act 2000
  "

Should it be 'is' ?

We are not worthy, We are not worthy - what a fantastic piece of work - I am loving the addendum:-

Following the publication of this Report, we have been informed that the Commission of the European Communities have launched an investigation into a complaint filed against the Member State, United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland for Violations of Directive 2004/18/EC of the European Parliament & of the Council of March 2004 on the co-ordination of procedures for the award of public works contracts, public supply contracts & public service contracts (O.J.2004 L 134/114) with respect to the award of the Pay-By-Phone contract by Westminster City Council on behalf of Partnerships-In-Parking. We are advised that the case number for this investigation is SGCDC- 2008A-7695 --- GESTDEM 2009/5139, and that a letter has been handed to the UK Representative in Brussels. This addendum is made in support of our claims at Section III of this request for a Public Inquiry.

Are you planning to hit them with it, or just read it to them until they capitulate?! Wink

Ogri,

I think you'll find both "In" or "Is" fit the bill - the meaning is the same - but that must have been some serious scrutinising on your behalf - maybe you could get a post on the WCC Built & Environment Scrutiny Cmttee.....wait a minute, they DON'T actually scrutinise ANYTHING that ole silver-tongue AG says!!

Scrap that idea then!! Huh? Embarrassed

Yep, re-reading it I guess it does make sense in a legalese sort of way rather than a literary way.

Scrutiny committee ? Ah yes..

You are STARS... I don't know what to say, other than you are the KINGS of all the bikers! Chairman, Graham and all the committee, all KINGS! This is an incredibly EXCELLENT piece of work, of an extremely high quality. For sure, one-size fits all is unable to match the quality of this report with his shity ones that don't make sense and are full of grammatical and spelling mistakes.

I wonder what Chalkley, Gilchrist and Goad have to say now that their contract with Verrus has been found illegal by the European Commission, and that it's going to be the subject of a major public inquiry. As UKFRANCE have said in their latest post, they've just gone a step too far by charging bikers to park, all this dirt wouldn't have been exposed if we were still parking for free in Westmonster.

SHAME ON WESTMINSTER CITY COUNCIL...

Just drop it on them, from a great height...

Outstanding, excellent work and sincere thanks to Warren & Graeme Co.

There is a huge amount of work gone in to that report, and as someone else has pointed out, it's puts Fitsall's report to shame.

It's also time the police took action, not only on the points mentioned in this report, but also with the NSL contracts. A lot of the publics money has been siphoned off to private companies, honest transparent accountability has been long overdue.

I just would like to be there when Gilchrist and Chalkley are slung into the back of a police van.

That's put the cat amongst the pigeons! Wonder whether it will get ignored or people will start to demand answers from those at WCC?

After all the council can't be seen to profit from braking the law?  Huh?

Able to confirm that this report is now in the hands of Bob Neill, the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party, and who has been fully appraised as to the names of the individuals at WCC who could ironically ensure that the first item on Cameron's agenda, should he be successful in May, will be having to answer questions from EU Commissioners.
