A message of support from Israel

Guys, our protest is being heard outside of the UK, the committee just received this email from Israel. Where they have some very novel ways of protesting!! Also they are thinking of doing a protest outside the British Embassy in Tel Aviv more in a show of solidarity with us and our fight.

Just a couple of words of support for your protest against parking charge. I'm Avi, editor of FullGaz, Israels
largest web magazine for 2 wheels. Your issue captures the attention here in Israel because we are also
in the middle of a protest of our own. Mandatory Insurance for bikes and scoots here is unbelievably high. more
so, it was raised again last November, and we're protesting and demonstrating. It's crashing our
2 wheel market, and situation is just shit.

In our largest protest/demo we managed to gather roughly 3,000 bikers...

If they're really going to do a demo outside the British embassy in Tel Aviv, I think we should gather outside the Israel embassy in London, in solidarity for them.

only problem is that it's in a string of embassys they won't even let you walk past let alone ride past in a large presesion

And I think you'll find that the Police won't be  too happy about it either!!

Particularly around the Israeli embassy! They are second only to the Septics in how much security they have!

We should definetly do a protest around the M25 or South/North Circular, although its not within wesminster I think it would raise a lot more awareness just like the old Lorry protest all those years ago which brought the country to a bit of a standstill. Even if we spent a whole day driving around westminster blocking random roads throughout the day it would be fantastic. The fact that the WCC have made this scheme perminent and now verrus are trying to change their name because so much dirt has been brought to the surface on them, it just makes me angry.

I like the idea of a motorway protest but 50cc mopeds are not allowed on motorways, along with provisional licence holders on 125cc motorcycles/scooters, and we usually get quite a few of them on the protests.
